Restore Balance with the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)

What is the SSP?

  • The SSP is a music therapy and listening training program, designed to help people who have experienced trauma or long-term stress.
  • The SSP music is filtered to train your brain to better recognize safety through listening to 5 hours of coded and filtered music.
  • The program trains the muscles in the middle ear to listen better to human voices. And less to other sounds that were dangerous from our evolution.
  • Creates safety and allows the autonomic nervous system, along with your body and mind, to relax.
  • SSP helps your body come out of a fight, flight or freeze mode.

What are the Benefits of the SSP?

  • Can help better connect with others.
  • Can help better control emotions and behavior.
  • Can help make progress in learning and therapy.
  • Can help focus on speech when there is background noise.
  • Can help interpret the emotional meaning of language.
  • Can help the nervous system reduce the fight-or-flight response.
  • Can help reduce feelings of stress, anxiety and emotional deregulation.

What are the Potential Side Effects?

Some report mild side effects including headaches, insomnia and fatigue, but these side effects were all temporary.
